HDS communications reached out to our 2021 graduating students to hear from them in their own words about their experiences at HDS, the people who've helped and inspired them along their grad school journeys, and their plans for the future.

Favorite Class or Professor

My favorite class was Prof. Césari's class "Religion and Nationalism." My take away from this class is that, now more than ever, the nations of the world and religious institutions need to be aware of how their belief systems, their sense of belonging, and the behaviors they value and promote have been shaped by the process of modernisation.

Message of Thanks

Prof. Regina Walton has been a continual support during these three years of MDiv. Her classes on spiritual formation and the Anglican tradition have allowed me to explore my call and ministry as a Francophone in the Anglican communion.

Future Plans

I am going back to France for a year to see my family, rest, go on retreats, and wander a little. During that time, I'd like to make myself available to God and continue several research and mission projects I have been working on for a couple of years.
