On October 17, 2013, the Buddhist Ministry Colloquium hosted the talk "Caste Politics in the Ambedkar Buddhist Movement."

Christopher Queen, Lecturer at Harvard Extension, and Dr. Gail Omvedt, author of 'Ambedkar: Towards an Enlightened India' (Penguin, 2005) were the featured speakers.
